Notice there are no other family members in these photos with Matt. It was a serious hike. Thank goodness Matt's friend, Jake, was willing to fill Matt's need for adrenaline-pumping extreme hiking on the top of a snow covered mountain ridge. They had a blast, and they made it back safely... that's all I care about.

Jake has been itching to do one of those hikes again. Maybe during our May visit we can arrange for a Guys hike! When he has a downer day he always talks about them and the good times had with Matt.
